Jeremy and Claire Weiss, the photography duo who brought you the amazing Slash cover for SWINDLE’s First Annual Icons Issue—among countless other awesome images, including their “Day 19″ portrait series—are taking part in a group show with the Texas art collective cum graffiti crew, Sour Grapes.
Jeremy met Sour Grapes artist Carlos Donjuan when the photographer made a stop at the SXSW music festival, while on tour with SoCal hardcore band The Bronx. Weiss says, “[Carlos] and his friends are always… trying to put on art shows, events, bike rides, etc. to make [Dallas] a cool city. I have always loved talking to them about their frustrations [over the lack of an] art scene in Dallas, and how they are trying to change all that.”
