Urban Decay chose Kime Buzzelli, darling of the L.A. art scene, to illustrate this amazing Shadow Box inside and out. Kime’s paintings feature wickedly fashionable women, often with brightly colored makeup running down their cheeks. Inspired by these characters, Urban Decay filled a palette with six shadows, primer potion and an eye pencil. 

Street artist ABOVE just released the new video “When in Rome” that documents the work he created in Italy this summer. ”I found this ‘gladiator’ in front of the Roman Colosseum, where he was asking five euros from tourists to take a photo with him,” ABOVE explains. “I bargained with him and got way more than I could of ever imagined.” To see the video, click here.  

On Friday, September 4, Extrinsic Affections opens at Bandit Gallery in Echo Park. The exhibition will feature exciting new work by The Seventh Letter’s AUGOR, DAME, EVOL, SEVER and TRAV, among others. The opening-night event will be hosted by rapper Johaz, and include DJ sets by Exile, Nght Prwl, Cal Cutters, Onename and Recworm.
